Beastie Boys performing “So Whatcha Want” on Arsenio. 1992.
Featuring DJ Hurricane on the mic, along with short appearances by B-Real and Sen Dog from Cypress Hill.
In other news, they’re reissuing Check Your Head as a collector’s edition at the end of the month, just like they did with Paul’s Boutique a few months ago. Supposedly, a reissue of Ill Communication is due out this summer, too.

A ten-ski for the Boys.
The Beastie Boys’ masterpiece, Paul’s Boutique, has been reissued as a remastered 20th Anniversary edition.
There’s a website for the reissue, which includes a full album commentary track by the three Beasties. Includes reminiscing about the real Johnny Ryall as well as a story about the “vocal booth closet” in Matt Dike’s house in which both Tone Loc and Young MC had dropped their breakout hits.
The Beastie Boys should make a feature length film where they play these characters…
